The story of a photographer
The first thing I want to you know is I care. I care about you, I care about your family, and most importantly I care about your story. Good and bad, crazy and sad. I want it all.
As a senior in high school I became a Doula. I wanted to care for women and bear witness to the beautiful beginnings of Motherhood. That love of birth quickly evolved into birth photography`. I needed a way to show these women what I saw while supporting them in birth. A way to tell their story.
And then, through photography, I began to tell stories. All sorts of stories. Families, weddings, births, deaths, in sickness and in health. Photography has given me a way to show you what I see in your beautiful, messy and meaningful life.
I hope you will give me the opportunity to tell your story. In all its simplicity, messiness and in all its glory.
